A review article in the International Journey of Behavioural Science puts the figure at an estimated 70% of people who experience the imposter syndrome phenomenon at some point in their lives.
Know that you are not alone.
So if we know that it is common, the feelings of Imposter Syndrome - know that it isn’t experiencing it that is the problem, it’s how we recognise and deal with it that has the biggest impact on our outcomes.
How true is this?
We’ve talked before about ‘stories’ and how we have them for time, money and success. Well, one of these life stories can be around our comparison of...
Do you ever find yourself thinking that you don’t know enough, aren’t slim/ pretty or confidence enough/ aren’t experienced enough? Basically just not good enough to achieve your goals?
Let me tell you that you aren’t alone and it’s very common for highly successful people to feel this way to, including the amazing Michelle Obama, Tina Fey and Sheryl Sandberg, who have all publicly said that they felt like a fraud at times.
